Time flies!!! I didn’t plan to do so, but sure you saw that I haven’t updated the blog in a while. Not enough time for sailing, photography and, why not, go to work once in a while…

Our New “Toy” – Nuestro Nuevo “juguete”

I already told you that we were being kind of distracted with a new “toy”, so it’s time to introduce her to you. She is a 30’ sailboat that joined the “family” 2 weeks ago. In fairness, she is way bigger than what we initially had in mind, but she happened to be there at the right time. Sure that sometime in the near future I will be able to take pictures and sail at the same time, but in the meantime, the introductory one needs to be at the marina.

Ya os dije que estábamos distraídos con un juguete Nuevo, así que ya es hora de presentároslo. Es un velero de 30 pies que se unió a nuestra “familia” hace un par de semanas. La verdad, es bastante más grande de lo que habíamos planeado, pero nos cruzamos en el camino y… Seguro que dentro de poco seree capaz de sacar fotos y navegar al mismo tiempo, pero de momento, la foto de presentación será desde el puerto.

I went to Tuscaloosa, Alabama last week. More than 6 months after the tornado, things are certainly improving; however signs of the damage are still there.
